Ms Claire Mahon founded together with Dr Christophe Golay the Project on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights  at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. Ms Mahon was a Research Associate of the former Research Unit on the Right to Food at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
